SATURDAY 13th
8.00am Teams will be allowed on site to set up tents
10.30am Captains Meeting - please ensure you attend to the meeting especially if you are a new team captain or have new to Relay for Life. Your captains pack will be distributed and key information will be provided for you to share with your teams.

PHOTOS - photos will be taken throughout the weekend by our Media team. Team photos will be taken on the Saturday. However if by some chance we miss you out - apologies but please come and grab us - we will be more than happy to take your photo!!

What to bring and what NOT to bring for Relay Weekend
Definite:
Recommended:
- Tents – some for sleeping in and one for sitting in with your team (if required)
- Sleeping bags and pillows
- Airbeds and blankets
- Chairs/Table
- Food/drink. Dominoes pizza are doing us a half price deal. Details will be provided on the day. If you do drink alcohol, please ensure it is kept within your pitch. Keep cans and bottles out of sight. Drinking is not permitted on the track.
- Money for purchasing food. Fundraising will also take place during Relay and merchandise will be available to purchase from the Marquee shop.
- Washing gear i.e. shower gel, toothbrush (showers are available)
- Any personal medication if needed
- Insect repellent and stuff for insect bites (Mountbatten is next to the river)
- RELAY FOR LIFE T-SHIRT
- Change of clothes
- Including underwear
- Something warm/cool
- Spare dry clothes (in case it rains)
- Sun Block
- Flask or refillable drink container. Tea and coffee will be supplied and there will be a drinking water tap. Why not buy a new thermal mug from the shop?
- Waterproofs (hard to believe, but it may rain!)
- Blanket for sitting on to listen to the bands/singers at our festival tent
Recommended:
- PJ’s (to take part in the PJ lap)
- Plasters – First Aid will be provided by St Johns Ambulance, but just in case
- Aspirin or other painkillers if needed
- Hay fever medication if needed
- Sun Hat (definitely hard to believe but it actually might be sunny!)
- Folding chairs/Lounger
- Knife, fork, spoon, plate etc
- MP3 player or IPod)
- Books (if you can find time to read!)
- Games (including packs of cards)
- Pens and paper
- Umbrella (see Waterproofs….)
- Bra and pants for the lap Sunday morning (to be worn over your clothes)
- Silly hats for the silly hat lap (sun awareness)
NOT ALLOWED
No Smoking is permitted in the Mountbatten Leisure Centre grounds and especially within the track area.
No Dogs are permitted - except registered guide dogs
No Barbecues or Gas cookers
No cars are allowed into the track area on both Friday and Saturday when setting up and on sunday when taking things away - there is plenty of parking available in the designated car parks at Mountbatten Leisure Centre.
